Can I Join a Fundraiser Without the Email Invitation?

If you were invited to a fundraiser by a Group Leader but didn’t receive the invitation email, you can still find and join the fundraiser as long as your email address was included in the invite.

How It Works

When a participant is invited via email, they can create an account or log in using that email addresseven without clicking the link in the invite email.

Once logged in, the fundraiser will automatically appear in their fundraiser list on both the website and mobile app.

This fundraiser will be marked with a “New – Join Now” label and displayed above any other fundraisers in the list.

📌 Important: Seeing the fundraiser in your list does not mean you’ve joined it yet. You still need to click the fundraiser and go through the steps to officially become a participant.

Why This Is Helpful for School Emails

Some schools block outside emails, which means invitation emails may never reach students. This feature ensures that as long as the Group Leader used the student’s correct school email address, the student can still:

  • Create an account or log in with that email

  • See the pending fundraiser in their list

  • Join the fundraiser without needing to access the original invite email

This makes it much easier to get students involved in fundraisers even when email delivery is blocked or filtered.

Notifications and Reminders

Please note that if your school blocks emails, you won’t receive reminder emails or other updates sent to your school address. To stay informed, it’s essential to register a valid phone number during the signup process so you can receive important text notifications.
