Logging In with Google: Single Sign-On (SSO) Guide

We now support Google Single Sign-On (SSO) to make your login experience faster, easier, and more secure—especially for schools and students using Google Workspace.

Using your Google account to log in means:

  • No new password to remember

  • Faster onboarding and login

  • Improved support for schools and students using Google Workspace

  • Flexible options based on user preference

  • Increased security through Google’s trusted authentication infrastructure

🧭 Getting Started: Account Creation & Login Flow

1. Create Account Flow

When you click "Get Started":

  1. Enter your email address.

  2. Click Continue.

    • We’ll check if there’s an account already associated with that email.

➤ If an account exists:

  • You’ll be taken to the Login screen.

  • A message will let you know the account already exists.

➤ If no account is found:

You’ll be guided through the Create Account screen:

  • Fill out the required fields:

    • First Name

    • Last Name

    • Mobile Number

    • Password

  • Some fields may auto-fill if we find matching data.

  • Once complete, click Create Account.

  • You’ll be sent to the Verify Account screen, and we’ll send a verification code to your email or phone.


2. Login Flow

Already have an account?

  1. Enter your email and password, or click "Sign in with Google".

  2. If valid, you’ll be taken:

    • Directly into your school’s app environment, or

    • To the school switcher, if you're linked to multiple schools


3. Verify Account

When creating a new account:

  • Enter the 6-digit code sent to your email or phone.

🔒 Note: Only one method (email or phone) can be verified at a time.


4. Join a School or Organization

After login or account creation, you’ll be prompted to connect with a school using:

Option 1: Join Code

  • Enter your code to open the Raise web-view.

  • Complete onboarding.

  • You’ll land on the app home screen or school search page.

Option 2: School Search

  • Select your state.

  • Search for your school name and select it.

  • Next step: Self Identify

    • Choose:

      • Student

      • Parent/Guardian

      • Fan

    • Coaches, Group Leaders, and School Officials can use the help text for guidance.

    • Your selection is saved to your user profile.
