Preparing Your FanX App for a New School Year

As schools get ready for a new academic year, here’s what you need to know about setting up and updating the FanX app:

✅ Is There Any Setup Required?

For most schools, no special setup is required for the FanX app to roll into a new school year. However, here are a few important notes based on how your schedules are managed:

📅 Schedule Updates

  • Manage Integration Schools: New schedules will sync in automatically—no action needed (assuming sync issues are resolved).

  • Arbiter Integration Schools: New schedules will sync starting July 1.

  • Manual Upload Schools: Schools can begin uploading schedules for the upcoming season at any time.

🗓 What Happens to Old Events?

  • Old events remain visible in the app if someone scrolls up through the schedule.

  • If preferred, schools can mass-delete past games by navigating to Sports > Games in the dashboard.

🧑‍🤝‍🧑 Roster Info

  • For Manage customers, roster information is expected to reset automatically on July 1.

  • If you have an updated team photo you are using as the team banner, you can upload your new photo under the team. Click Edit, and upload your photo under "Team Banner Image".

🔗 Updating Links

  • If your app includes custom links that were specific to the previous school year (e.g., “2024–2025 Schedules” or registration forms), those can be replaced with updated links for the new year.
