Registration training for coaches

REGISTRATION 📋

Registration is where you will roster your athletes, and send text and email communications to your team, parents, and athletes/students. Note: Check with your AD or school administrator to verify your campus is using Manage Registration. 

By the end of the Registration training, you will be able to 

  • Roster your athletes
  • View emergency contact information
  • Send mass communications to your guardians and athletes

Logging in to Registration

Your school admin will need to create a profile for you in Registration, once complete you will receive an invite to set up your SSO account. Select the 'Click Here' prompt in the email and follow the instructions on creating your account.

 

How to Roster 📋

  1. Click Rosters on the left-side navigation menu
  2. At the top of the Rosters page select the specific roster you would like to view; Athletics, Camps, or Events
  3. Click the 🔹blue link of the activity/sport/group you would like to Roster. Note: You will be able to toggle back and forth between levels as you set your roster. 
  4. Click the Set Roster tab
    1. You can toggle back and forth between levels under the Team category by clicking the 🔹blue Sport/Level
    2. In the Registrants column click the boxes next to each athlete you would like to roster
    3. Click the 🔹blue Move Selected to Roster button
    4. All athletes you have selected for the roster will move to the Roster column
    5. Click the 🔹blue Finalize button Note: When you click the 🔹blue Finalize button your rosters will be posted to your website AND parents of the rostered athletes will receive an email congratulating their child on making the team

Roster Options:

At the top of your Roster page are tabs to select from. The list below provides a brief description of what you can accomplish or view in each tab.

  • View Roster - This shows you a list of all your athletes who are rostered. The information included in the view includes class, number, position, height, weight, physical date, concussion test and paid or unpaid
  • Set Roster - Allows you to set your roster, remove students from a roster, or move students to another roster
  • Tryout list - Provides you with a list of all students who have registered for that specific sport. The information included in this list includes class, parent name, parent phone, emergency contact information, physical date, and concussion test
  • Emergency Contact Report - Provides you with a list of all your rostered athletes and their corresponding emergency contact information.
  • Awards & Records - Follow the onscreen instructions to create team-specific awards and assign school and team-specific awards.

How to Send Communications to Parents and Students 📋

Follow the steps below to start sending email or text blasts to students and parents from Registration

  1. Click Messages on the left side navigation menu
  2. Select if you would like to send an email or text message
    • Email messages can be as long or as short as you'd like and you can include attachment
    • Text messages have a limited character count and should be short
  3. Use the filter boxes to select the specific audience you would like to receive your message
  4. In the text box under Season type your message/communication
  5. You can click the grey Choose File button to attach a file with your communication - this is optional
  6. Click the 🔹blue Send Message button
  7. Your message/communication will appear on the right-hand column of the screen under Previous Messages
