Sending digital contracts to your opponent is quick and easy.
The opponent's AD will receive a digital PDF copy of the contract to sign. Once they have signed the contract, you will be notified in the Contract tab of the specific event.
Use the 💻 Opponent Contracts link to learn how to do it with an interactive walkthrough. Alternatively, step-by-step instructions are included below!
Do you need to manage all of your contracts at once or perhaps resend multiple contracts to ADs who have not yet signed? Check out the Contract Inventory article to learn how to manage all of your contracts.
Step-by-step instructions
- Log in to AD Assist
-
Check to make sure you added email addresses to your opponents.
In order for your opponents to receive digital contracts, they need to have email addresses entered.
Follow the steps below to add email addresses.
- Visit the Maintenance tab
- Click Opponents
- Edit the opponent and add an email address.
- When you are ready to send your opponent's digital contracts, you will need to go to the specific event you want to create a contract for; this can be found by first visiting the Events tab
- Scroll midpage and click the "create contract" button from the event details screen to begin creating your contract
- All events you have selected for your contract appear in the Event Detail section. AD Assist will make suggestions for other games/events you may want to add to the contract.
- From those selections, you can select additional events by clicking the checkmarks next to them in the suggestion table
- Once you have all additional events selected, click + Add Selected Events to add them to the Event details for this contract.
- If you don't have additional events to add, then just click the blue next to create an event for the single event.
- Once you click Next, you'll be on the final screen, where you will select your opponents to send the contract to.
- If you want to add any additional comments to your contract, you can type them here. They will appear at the bottom of your contract listed as "Additional Conditions".
- Use the checkmark boxes to the left to select opponents.
- Click Save when you're ready to send the contracts!
- If there are multiple events for an opponent on one contract (i.e. - 4 baseball games), they will be marked as confirmed when the contract is signed, regardless of which event the contract was created under.
- If there are multiple opponents linked to an event for a tournament, the event will not be confirmed until all opponents have signed the contract.
