Pay By Bank: Linking with Account/Routing Numbers

 

If you choose not to link your bank account through Plaid login, you can still connect it directly using your account and routing numbers. Here's how:

 

1. Select the payment method "Pay By Bank". Then click "Link Account".

 

2. A Plaid popup will appear. Click "Continue".

3. You will then be prompted to enter your phone number or "Continue as Guest".

 

4. Next, the page to select your bank will appear. Scroll to the bottom and click "Link with Account Numbers".

5. Enter the Routing Number. A screen will then pop up, which you can skip by saying "continue with account number."

 

6. Add your account number.

This will prompt verification with a micro-deposit. Depending on your financial institution, this deposit should be received within 24 hours but may take up to 2-3 business days. Once you receive it, log back into Snap! Spend to verify.

  • You need to change your participant's name (i.e. name is spelled incorrectly).
  • You want a refund or a history of your payments.
  • You want to split an invoice into two separate payments.
